OPEN SHELF BOOKS

The bulk of the library collection comprises of textbooks, conference, proceedings, and technical papers covering most subject in engineering, architecture, quantity surveying, management etc. There are on open access and can be borrowed within the period specified. Our library collection is classified and arranged according to the Library of Congress Classification Scheme.

SERIALS

Magazines or journal published from either Malaysia or overseas that the library subscribed. The latest collections are shelved at the latest journal racks. All collections that published before the current year are bounded according to year of publication and available at the open shelves. The library also has subscribed  online database and e-journals in order to provide users with the most latest of readily available information sources, mostly those published by ASCE. Click here for full List of magazines / journals subscribed by the library.

JKR PUBLICATIONS

JKR Publications are collections that the Public Work Department published from time to time. All of these published materials must be sent to the library as the library act as repository centre for all PWD publications produced by various JKR branches & states. The collection includes bulletins, annual reports, manuals, exam papers and etc.

The library subscribed to local newspapers such as NST, The Star, , Malay Mail, Berita Harian, Utusan Malaysia, Mingguan Malaysia, Berita Minggu, Kosmo, Harian Metro , The Sun and Sinar.  This printed is keep up to 2 month only. Digital newspaper articles relating to JKR can be accessed via ecoms.

SPECIAL COLLECTION

The library also have special collections which is Standards, Thesis, Asbuilt Drawings, Contract Document and Multimedia.
